Goodyear FIA ETRC Season is fast approaching

The FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) has lined up another fantastic season with balanced and challenging circuits, there are seven races in this year’s calendar and as usual the FIA will bring one of the most exciting competitions in the world of motor racing.

The ETRC has had an exciting history and their commitment to constant innovation and change is set to see the 2024 competition light up.

The ETRC is run by the  Fédération Internalionale de l’Autombile (FIA), over the course of the season races take place in some of the most renowned European circuit, such as Le Mans Buggatti Circuit in France, Nürburgring in Germany and Jarama Circuit in Spain.

It’s set to be a spectacle of skill and speed in the first race at the Misano World Circuit in Italy. This circuit starts the season with a bang as one of the most demanding tracks. John took an unexpected pole position last year and we’ve got high hopes once again.

ETRC’s first races in the 1980’s have attracted motoring enthusiasts far and wide, with its electric circuits and giant trucks racing at speeds of up to 100mph. With spectators averaging 420,000 each season, streaming the races is a must.

This year sees the calendar drop race 8, the Poznan race in Poland has been cancelled, which is a shame for NWT Motorsport team. Last year our Polish teammates had a chance to showcase their home country and hospitality.

We tested at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic, Lagertha just needed some fine tuning, but we made no major changes. John shaved 2 seconds off his time and the team felt confident moving into the first race. See you in Misano.
